দু’বছর আগে আপনার জীবনী বাস্তবের আড়ালে পড়ে আমি আপনার প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়েছিলাম। অসম্ভব শ্রদ্ধা জেগেছিল আপনার উপর। এবার দ্বিতীয় খণ্ড ‘সময় তোমার হাত ধরে কিনে পড়ে ফেললাম। শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে অদ্ভুত একটা অনুভূতি হল। সেই অনুভূতিকে ব্যাখ্যা করার ভাষা আমার জানা নেই। আপনার সর্বাঙ্গীণ মঙ্গল কামনা করি। কুর্নিশ জানাই আপনার সাহসকে, নিজেকে ভালো রাখার প্রচেষ্টাকে। কথাটা বোধ হয় একটু ভুলই বললাম, কারণ ভলোত্ব দিয়ে সম্পৃক্ত যাঁর মন তিনি তাঁর স্বভাবসিদ্ধ গুণ দিয়ে সব খারাপের ঊর্ধ্বেই থাকেন। আপনার গোয়েন্দা সুমনকল্যাণ অতুলনীয়। প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় খণ্ড শেষ। এখন প্ররিভ্রমণ করছি তৃতীয় খণ্ডে। অশেষ ভালো লাগার অনুভূতি পাচ্ছি।
